Now

A snapshot of what I’m focused on right now — September 2026.

What I’m learning

I’m exploring Go and Elixir.

Go is interesting to me because of its simplicity and concurrency model

Elixir is interesting for a different reason: OTP, processes, supervision, fault tolerance and concurrency provide a very different way of thinking about software.

I’m not trying to rush through either ecosystem. I’m more interested in building a solid mental model and seeing where each one takes me.

Hobbies

Photography

Photography is still one of my favourite creative outlets.

Cardistry

I’m also into cardistry.

I’ve always liked playing cards as a medium because they sit at an interesting intersection of design and movement. They’re small, familiar objects, but there’s an incredible amount you can do with them. You can make friends and travel around the world with just a deck of cards… and if you’ve told me that a few years ago, I would have thought you were crazy.

If you are interested in my thoughts on cardistry and why you should learn it - feel free to reach out to me. There’s something satisfying about taking an everyday object and spending years discovering how much more there is to it.

Cooking/Baking

Recently I’ve been getting into sourdough baking.

What started as “let’s make some bread” quickly turned into obsessing over starter behaviour, hydration, fermentation, dough development, shaping, oven spring and crumb structure.

Future

There are a few things I’d like to explore next, without necessarily turning them into immediate projects. But more on that later.

Current theme: stay curious.

This is a now page — a quick snapshot of what I’m focused on right now. I update it occasionally, not on a fixed schedule.
